Our Elders #7
I talked to my Great Grandmother for about an hour and half. It was nice to just spend some time together and just talk and listen to her tell me about her childhood and how different it was compared to how children are raised today. She talked about how she was when she was around my age. She also told me many random stories. I really enjoyed talking to her and when I asked her how she liked just taking the time to sit here talking to eachother, she said she loved it! So I definitely will be doing this more often.

That's really great that you took the time to talk to your elderly. It's crazy to think how much time has changed and the lives that our grandparents lived is completely different than how we were raised and live!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice to just listen to what life was like before? It's like a history class without a textbook, and instead you hear about your family's history!
